What kind of photo works best?
Choose a bright, clear photo with the home or building easy to see and as unobstructed as possible. A straight-on or gently angled view usually creates the strongest engraving.
Where is my cutting board made?
Our bamboo, cherry, and walnut boards are shaped, sanded, engraved, and finished by our team from start to finish in Utah.
Is the cutting board food safe?
Yes. Our boards are finished with food-safe cutting-board oil and are safe to use in your kitchen. Many customers use the back for food preparation and display the engraved front as kitchen or home décor.
How do I care for my cutting board?
Hand wash your board only and do not let it soak in water. When the wood begins to look dull or dry, refresh the finish with food-safe cutting-board oil or wax.
Will someone review my artwork, and can I request changes?
Yes. Every board is reviewed by our design team for accuracy before engraving. You can request adjustments using the revision notes while creating your design. If you have already ordered, email us with your order number as soon as possible so we can review the request before production.
What if my board needs to be redone or arrives damaged?
We want you to love your board. If the finished piece has a production issue, something is not right, or it arrives damaged, email hello@copperfoxco.com with your order number and clear photos of the board and packaging. Our team will review it and work with you to make it right.
Can you engrave something other than a house?
Yes. Cabins, churches, temples, storefronts, wedding venues, and other meaningful buildings or architectural landmarks can make beautiful engravings. Choose a bright, clear photograph with the structure easy to see. Our current portrait process is designed for architecture rather than people, pets, vehicles, or standalone objects.
How do shipping and delivery work?
Each custom board is crafted in 1–4 business days, then shipped through USPS or UPS. Free standard shipping is included for U.S. addresses, and you’ll see an estimated arrival window while ordering. We do not currently ship internationally.
Do you offer gift boxes or bulk ordering?
Yes. Gift presentation options can be selected while designing your board. We also offer volume pricing as low as $15 per item for qualifying real estate, client, and ongoing business gifts. Contact us to plan your order.
